Mullein Leaf is a soft, earthy herbal leaf with a long history of use in traditional Western herbalism. Naturally mild, slightly sweet and herbaceous, it brews into a smooth, comforting infusion with a clean herbal finish.
Traditionally, mullein leaf has been used in herbal tea blends associated with the chest, throat and cooler-season wellness. Its gentle character makes it especially popular in soothing-style loose-leaf blends, where it is often combined with herbs such as marshmallow root, licorice root, thyme, peppermint, elderflower, nettle leaf or lemon balm.
With its light, fluffy texture and mild flavour, mullein is a versatile botanical for herbal infusions, traditional tea blends and everyday wellness-style recipes. It can be enjoyed on its own or used as a soft, earthy base for custom loose-leaf tea formulations.
How to Use
Add 1–2 teaspoons of dried mullein leaf to a cup or teapot. Cover with freshly boiled water and steep for 5–10 minutes, then strain well.
Because mullein leaf is naturally fine and fluffy, we recommend using a fine tea strainer, infuser bag or tea filter.
