Astragalus Root is a traditional botanical valued for its mild, naturally sweet flavour and long history of use in Chinese herbal preparations. The dried root has a firm, fibrous texture and a subtle earthy aroma, making it well suited to herbal teas, decoctions, broths and botanical blends.

Directions for Tea
Use 1–2 teaspoons per cup. Add to water and gently simmer for 15–20 minutes. Strain well before drinking. Enjoy on its own or blend with ginger, cinnamon, licorice root or other complementary botanicals.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and strong odours. Seal well after opening.
